Getting to Dignity Center

  • By Car: From northbound Pasadena Freeway, exit at Avenue 64 (Marmion), turn left, go over the Freeway, and go up the hill. From the southbound Pasadena Freeway, exit at York Blvd, turn left (after leaving Freeway) to reach York, right on York two blocks to Avenue 64, and left a block. From the San Fernando Valley or San Gabriel Valley (or further north), take the 134 Freeway to the Figueroa St. exit (at the western edge of Pasadena), go south about two miles to York Blvd., and then east two blocks to Avenue 64, and then south a half block.
  • By Bus: From Spring St. in downtown Los Angeles, take Route 81 or 83 to York Blvd and then walk east two blocks to Ave. 64 and south one block.
  • By Gold Line: Exit at Highland Park Station, go to SE corner of Figueroa St. and Ave. 57, and take bus (Route 81) to York Blvd (and walk from there, as stated under By Bus above).


Leadership of Dignity/LA

Dignity/LA is governed by a Board consisting of four executive officers elected annually in February to a 1-year term by a membership vote and several committee chairpersons (the number may vary to some extent from year to year, if approved by a membership vote) who are nominated by the President for a 1-year term and are subject to being confirmed by vote of the membership.  The current Board members are as listed below:
